Manchester United | 2019-2026

  • Appearances: 122
  • Goals: 25

Hannibal Mejbri is a player that Manchester United will hope develops into a first-team talent in real-life. On FM20, he broke into the first team in the 2022/23 season but only ever made more than 20 Premier League appearances once in 2025/26. It was in his final season in Manchester in which he helped United win the Champions League, beating Manchester City in the final!

Arsenal | 2026-2028

  • Appearances: 88
  • Goals: 18

Arsenal signed Mejbri in 2026 for a fee of £44M. He played for Arsenal for two seasons, winning the Premier League in his first season before becoming a key member of the first team the following season. The 2027/28 season really was a key season in Mejbri’s career as he scored 13 goals and made 24 assists in 55 appearances.

Real Madrid | 2028-2038

  • Appearances: 396
  • Goals: 130

Mejbri left Arsenal when Real Madrid came calling. Madrid signed Mejbri for a huge fee of £104M, highlighting how good a player he has become. The Frenchman spent ten seasons in Spain for Madrid, helping them win two league titles and two Copa del Rey’s. This is perhaps an underwhelming return from ten seasons with one of Europe’s top club’s. Mejbri left the club in 2038.

West Ham | 2038-2039

  • Appearances: 47
  • Goals: 8

Hannibal Mejbri’s final club in football was back in England with West Ham. He signed for them for £6.25M and played a full season with the club. West Ham have turned into a top-6 club and he helped them secure a 5th place finish in the PL. He also guided them to an FA Cup victory, playing the whole game and providing two assists. Mejbri retired from football at the end of the season.

International | France

  • Caps: 154
  • Goals: 52

Hannibal Mejbri initially struggled to break into the French national side, perhaps due to Man Utd’s reluctance to use Mejbri consistently in their first-team. Mejbri’s breakthrough season came in 2026 as he made his debut prior to the 2026 World Cup. Scoring on his debut no doubt helped secure his place in the World Cup squad – and what a year to do so! France won the 2026 World Cup, beating Germany in the final after extra time.

Mejbri made 154 appearances for France and interestingly did not retire from internationals prior to his club retirement, perhaps suggesting that he retired from club football prematurely.
