One of the most promising youngsters in Italian football is Sebastiano Esposito. The young striker made his club debut in a Europa League match in March, before making his Champions League debut in October 2019. His first goal for the club came from a penalty against Genoa in December 2019.

In five seasons with Inter Milan, Esposito led Inter Milan to one league title, winning the Serie A in the 2019/20 season. His development was aided by regular first team football at the club and by the age of 21 he would be considered as one of the world’s best. He left to join English club Chelsea for a huge transfer fee in 2024.

At Chelsea, Sebastiano Esposito would become a legend. The club paid a record £137M for the striker in 2024 and he would stay until 2038. Over the course of his time with Chelsea he repeatedly scored in vital moments for the club, netting twenty-one goals in finals across his time at the club.

This number included the goal to win the 2025 Champions League, a hat-trick in the Carabao Cup final in 2028 and a brace in the 2036 Europa League final.

Esposito won fourteen honours whilst at Chelsea. Individually, he won the FIFA Ballon d’Or in 2025.

Esposito left Chelsea in 2038 to join Al-Jazira. He scored 55 times for the club across two seasons and incredibly led the side to the 2038 Asian Champions League. And yes, he scored in the final!

Esposito was able to carry his club form onto the international stage. He scored a record 143 goals in 166 games for Italy, leading the nation to several international honours including the Euros in 2028 and the World Cup in 2034.

Esposito netted in both finals in which he appeared for Italy. He scored in 11 international matches in a row between 27-28 and in the 2036 European Championship qualifiers, he scored a record 7 goals in a match as Italy beat Andorra. It is safe to say that Esposito has earned his status as an Italian legend.
