FM Predicts the EPL #3 | Stoke Shock Arsenal | FM17

Can Football Manager accurately predict the outcome of real life matches? In this brand new series on VivaLaVidaFM, I will be putting both FM17 and FM18 to the test as we look to see how accurate the game is.

Last week saw Manchester United finish top of the league at the end of Gameweek 1. Huddersfield earned a 3-0 victory and Chelsea suffered a shock defeat. Missed this post? Go back and check it out here to see how FM fared in its first week of predictions.

In this post we look at the second round of fixtures of the English Premier League season and see if Football Manager can predict what is going to happen. We’ll be looking at just nine matches this week as Manchester City play Everton on Monday night, meaning that game will be looked at in next weeks post.

#FMbet

A lesson has been learned in our second week of FMbet. After earning a profit of £5.60 last week, I became greedy, placing money on doubles instead of singles.

GREED
Greed.

FM predicted for there to be a red card in the Burnley v West Brom match and it was right. But I was greedy and matched it with a bet on Liverpool to score a penalty (after seeing James Milner score THREE in FM). A poor decision.
